Artist Speaker Series Workshop Schedule

Availability
The Photography Room is a retail art gallery. The gallery is available for rentals after 5:30 PM Monday through Saturday, and all day Sunday. The Photography Room is only responsible for the rental of the gallery space, not common area within the building.

Number of Persons
Maximum Capacity 150 for stand-up receptions.
Seated Dinner 60 persons maximum in the large gallery and 20 persons maximum in small gallery.

Cost
All weekday or weekend evening rentals: $500 up to 5 hours; $150/hour for additional time. Time begins when caterers arrive for set-up and ends when they have broken down and departed. Gallery rental for New Year's Eve beginning at: $2,000. 50% is due with application.

Method
Upon approval of the application, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. The balance of the rental fee and all other charges will be due 10 days before the date of rental. The Photography Room will accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard or Visa. All checks are to be made payable to The Photography Room.
The rentee should know that gallery closing time is 12:00 midnight, that is when all persons must be out of the building. In the event the rentee should need or want to extend these hours, prior approval is required, and an additional fee of $175.00 dollars per hour will be applied.

Parking
There are plenty of parking ramps within 1-3 blocks of the gallery. The Photography Room also has parking valet services available. Valets are suggested for events over 50 people for parking ease. Please inquire as to your event's estimated cost.

Alcohol Consumption
Alcohol may be served at The Photography Room. Bartenders will be professional and will obey the laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages. In the event your event charges for alcohol as a cash bar or as part of a ticket price, you must hire a liquor licensed caterer.

Available Equipment
The Photography Room is to be used for holding and heating of off site prepared foods. The following is available for use during rental times only:

  • Votive Candles
  • Small Refrigerator
  • 5 Disc CD Player

Event Planner / Caterer Responsibilities

  • The event planner/caterers working at The Photography Room must have copies of their business licenses, certificates of insurance, and proof of workman\'s compensation on file with The Photography Room.
  • On the days that The Photography Room is open, event planner/caterers may not begin setting up until 5:00 p.m. Exceptions will be considered.
  • Event planner/caterers are responsible for unloading, setting up, and reloading all their goods.
  • All rented items are to be neatly placed on the designated area by the event planner/caterer after the event.
  • All rented items or delivered goods (alcohol, flowers, video equipment, etc.) must be signed for by the rentee or event planner/caterer. No exceptions.
  • Caterers are to provide all necessary tools such as trash bags, can openers, foil, pots, towels, dish detergent, knives, and other supplies necessary to carry out their duties. The Photography Room cannot provide any of the above items.

House Rules

  • There can be absolutely nothing hung, nailed, or taped to the walls at The Photography Room without the permission of gallery personnel.
  • All publicity concerning The Photography Room must be approved through The Photography Room by Brian Kelly.
  • Smoking is not allowed inside the gallery.

In the event of any damages occurring to any artwork or to the physical condition of any and all public space within The Photography Room itself, the rentee will be held solely responsible and will be billed accordingly. This includes, but is not limited to scratches, nicks, breaks, or marks of any kind.
